You win your contest by accumulating fame points (fps): There are several ways to get more points:

• HEAD-TO-HEAD: You get +10 fps every time you win a head-to-head contest in your chosen category on our 'Rank Contestants' section.
  
• PROFILE VIEW: You get +1 fp anytime anyone views your profile EXCEPT yourself.
  
• FRIEND/FAN REFERRAL: You get +5 fps anytime you invite your friends/fans to join HowFamous.com
  
• GIFT POINTS: You can receive Gift fps from Premium Service Members, who are allocated 20 fps each week to give to whomever they choose. Basic members get 1 fp each week to give out.
• GET ADDED AS A FRIEND: If someone lists you as a friend on his or her Friends List, you'll get +20 fp if he or she is a Premium Services member. (+1 if he or she is only a basic member.)
• LOGIN EVERY DAY: You get +1 fp just for logging in every 24 hours.
  

DON'T TRY TO GAME THE SYSTEM

Any other ways to get more points is cheating, and cheaters will be booted from our site. There are safeguards built into the system, and while we don't want to kick anybody off the site, we will do so 'cause it ends up hurting the rest of the users. So play fair, play nice and...
Don't email profiles to yourself.
Don't create duplicate profiles.
